caregiver assisting her patient in doing motor exerciseAll of our physical therapy staff are graduates of a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent and have obtained (and current) a California State license for Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities

A physical therapist assists the patient’s physician in evaluating the patient’s current functional ability as well as setting realistic treatment goals for the patient. A plan of treatment is established which is designed to accomplish these goals and is approved by the patient’s physician. Some example treatments of Physical Therapy services are:

  • Knee Replacement Rehab
  • Hip Replacement Rehab
  • Establish Home Exercise Programs
  • Osteoarthritis Care
