Skilled Nursing

Education

All of our skilled nursing staff are graduates of an accredited school of nursing and have obtained (and current) California State license for Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Duties and Responsibilities

A skilled nurse performs a variety of duties to care and comfort for patients requiring medical services. A skilled nurse must utilize specialized skills and judgment when delivering care to patients. A skilled nurse implements and evaluates patient care while performing nursing procedures to treat and rehabilitate patients. Some example treatments of Skilled Nursing services are:

• Patient Teaching
• Overall Safety Monitoring
• Medication Management
• Wound Care (Includes Wound Vac Care)
• Pre And Post-Op Care
• In-Home Infusion / IV
• Catheter Care
